The Council maintains working relationships with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade in Tashkent, together with regional administrations and free-economic-zone authorities. For members this means escalation of stalled approvals, early notice of government tenders and PPP calls, and collective advocacy on non-tariff barriers — the approvals, standards, testing and customs procedures that both governments have now agreed to review through a time-bound mechanism.
